Dr. Douglas graduated from Quillen College of Medicine, where he was a member of the prestigious medical student honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha, and graduated fourth in his class. Dr. Douglas completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina. During his residency, he was given the James E. Chapman Memorial Award for Outstanding Resident in OB-GYN. He was also the Poster Prize Winner at the American Fertility Society meeting in 1987. Dr. James Douglas was awarded a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Ohio State University.
In addition, Dr. James Douglas has published research on a variety of infertility and reproductive topics in various journals such as the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fertility and Sterility. He has also presented research at several national meetings for the American Fertility Society, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and the Presbyterian Hospital Assisted Reproductive Technology Services Program. His extensive education and training has also made Dr. James Douglas a reliable source for information on infertility and reproduction-related issues in the Dallas Community. He has been interviewed on both Channel 8 and FOX 4 News on topics relating to his infertility and reproductive endocrinology.
